This is a work of high calibre. All these articles need to be saved and later made into a book. It's refreshing to see someone finally use the common sense of Gurbani to awaken Sikhs. May you be made a future leader of the Panth young man. You are well qualified enough to save us from self-inflicted stupidity.

Bravo! Someone finally said it with evidence from the Gurbani of SGGS, we need to start helping our own. I am 100% certain that Ravi Singh will die if he reads this. That fraud has robbed the good working Sikhs of the Panth and spent our hard earned money elsewhere.

Factions with an agenda have capitulated to the political and religions whims of non-Sikhs in concealing Gurbani verses that openly deride and forewarn against this culture of open charity that myopic Sikhs have created all in the name of selflessness. Selflessness does not denote sacrificing your own people for appeasing your drive for validation-seeking.

What can I do to exemplify the lesson? My thought is to create a non profit compound for our Sangat, but more than just a Gurudwara. A school, a physical fitness center, shelter. This will serve to develop the functional units of Sikh society: Sikh families. Although, what will prevent them from going astray as we have?

Money drives everything. You need to stay among the people and ascertain their needs. Provide for them subtly but give credit to them. Slowly, they will value independence and once independent they will be more attached to you. Stay among them and ascertain what can strengthen them and what can weaken them. Are you considering a village?

Yes. Eventually the compound would expand to a village. I don’t see 2nd and 3rd generations at a gurudwara. I need to broaden Sikhi beyond the immigrant punjabi demographic, without distorting Sikhi. But who am I to even fathom this? I cannot shake this idea I have had. Perhaps I am emulating Waco.

Maybe, actually study Waco to see what they did wrong and then see how Sikhs set up their systems.
