Though Idol worhsip forbidden but a strange form of worship which Nanak could not forsee is has grown up among them .The worship of Granth .It is worship exactly the same as idols evr worshipped

Massive difference given that bowing down and keeping it safe does not exactly consist idolatry. This has been noted multiple times in various Indian Court Cases in which the jurisdictional person of the SGGS has been recognized as projecting a different concept than that to an idol or mosque. Yes, some Sikhs have taken things too far under the insidious influence of the Pujari. But come on, that doesn't give us license to throw out the baby with the bathwater.

Idol worship its the worshiping the stone and the devi dev behind it but if ur in need of knowledge or strength, what do you do with a rock? You cant read it, it doesnt give you gian meanwhile guru granth sahib ji and amrit bani in general is what give you knowledge and advice. We worship sword arrows and other shastar because they protect us they provide us with power to defend the week. So as you can see they’re not the same

There is a genie complex involved…people need to realize that SGGS must be read, understood, internalized and acted upon so that the act of obeisance and bowing has true meaning. The reverence and respect comes from the power and beauty connecting with Bani can provide the individual.
