How best would one describe the relationship between Guru Granth Sahib and rehat to someone who is enquiring about sikhi?

Rehat is the all important fundamental required to follow Gurbani. It adds a practical dimension to adhering to and following Gurbani.

Another Rehit mentioned in Gurbani, and the truth told that the ones who MEDITATE ON THE TRUTH (NAAM) are rare!

Nice read, good work.

I have two questions if you would enlighten me on:

1. I largely agree with your description of the 'reasoning' behind the 5Ks, but is there an authoritative text that covers why each Kakkar is important for Khalsa Swaroop? As a response to when people ask this question.

2. In the summary, are you saying "Sikh Rehat Maryada <is> ... permeated with concessions"? Is this in reference to topics like meat, bhang, that have caused a stir within the Panth? Or other concessions?

Thanks.

Thank you for your inquiry.

(A) Bhai Jivan Singh's 'Gur Katha' mentions them as portals or a means to an end. Otherwise, research is ongoing.

(B) As far as Gurbani is concerned, meat isn't some deal-breaker. It should be jhatka and non-ritualistically slaughtered. Bhang as an addiction (not explicitly mentioned in the document), throwing ashes at Kiratpur etc these are the concessions.

There is infinity in awareness realms, but once one is so sure about others state, the ends of learning are achieved and further dialogue of learning can be made with so learned intellects.

They serve multiple purposes. But from a theological perspective, it is often the ideological justification which is highlighted.

Except war is our theology you're trying to push feminist liberalism & Sant Mat (Gyanis) as highest aspiration of Khalsa.

[The Guru commanded] "I will not keep misers and teetotalers in my Panth, [my Singhs] will have the desire for vicious warfare."

Shaheed Singh are highest & if having a 1.6TFR in line with Gurmat?

We know feminism crashes fertility & a high fertility is required for fighting.

I know you'll virtue signal and argue against this, but no one expects any better.

Actually, we don't believe in whatever demented imbecility you accuse us of believing in.

Secondly, historic Granths aren't exactly Gurbani (seeing that you missed that point) so whatever convoluted point you are trying to establish, it remains just that-convoluted.

Hard to comprehend where war for war's sake becomes a part of Sikh theology.

You sound like a hybrid between a Nihang wannabe and a woke individual.

Read more and maybe you will see that we see no difference between you "high on warfare" lot and the Sant Mat competition you deride.

Pretty cowardly of you to beat a retreat even before receiving a rejoinder,

"I know you'll virtue signal and argue against this, but no one expects any better."

Minor correction to your fantasy: "my kind" and not "no one expects any better."

We are quite interested to see who the "we" are here? Mighty warriors of your cult who are conquering Gurudwaras and suppressing land? Or your keyboard warrior clique?

"Shaheed Singh are highest & if having a 1.6TFR in line with Gurmat?

We know feminism crashes fertility & a high fertility is required for fighting."

What's this? Chavspeak?

The world is rapidly recalibrating itself. The patrician logjam has been nullified. The stance now might be of feminism impugning fertility in execution. But the issue can be overcome.

But throwing around high-end vocabulary to convey yourself as some intellectual is pretty easy.
